When you buy this book years ago at an age that you probably weren t supposed to but end up reading it years later when you re clearly old enough to read it now25 stars I can t really give this book any score higher than that because it s justit s just erotica with a very simple plotEven taking place during World War 2 the story isn t heavily focused on that They don t gloss over it until the end they do bring up parts of it throughout but the plot is not about the war I mean can you even really call it plot when most of the book is just erotic sex scenes between two women It s just a story about two women falling in love during war time and having lots of sexThere were a few grammatical errors throughout nothing massive or aggravating can you really be pissed over grammatical issues in a smut book but certainly noticeable And sometimes I felt Lil and Georgia s speaking was a bit of modern lingo but I m not a linguistic and certainly not one for historical vernacular So I m suspicious but I m letting it pass There was a really uncomfortable scene view spoiler when Lil teases her brother and he touches her clothed breast Not knowing where this book was going and with Georgia s constant flirting with her brother and saying if she was straight she d sleep with him I was worried that all three of them were going to sleep together for the last sex scene Thankfully it didn t escalate past that but I really wish the play flirting had only happened between Georgia and Lil s brother It was just a little off putting Even if he was going to war and he might not survive that s still his sister and that s still her brother Even play flirting is weirdI do however appreciate that once he finds out Lil and Georgia are together he immediately accepts them His line about loving someone during the war not caring who they are or how you found them just hold onto them tight was a nice sentiment hide spoiler
