The prologue had potential however when it turned to Chapter 3 I felt like I was reading Stephenie Meyer s Twilight then when all the mystery was solved the story ended suddenly And I didn t even know where were those villains in the middle of the story I didn t get it because Jordan Silver often let the villains approach the heroine or hero This book was so not like her works How Money Became Dangerous leave her with the same yearn. SUMMARY Illicit By Jordan Silver REVIEW ✓ FUTBOLENTRELINEAS.CO Ñ Jordan Silver Jordan Silver Ñ 1 REVIEW Ing tempered with fear One thing is for certain in her dreams there's always dange. This is a Jordan Silver book I really really liked until the 85% mark I loved that it had a Gothic vibe to the story and it is written along the same vein as Passion with a Twilight undertone This book was edited much better than Ms Silver s previous work although it still had some noticeable errors but I enjoyed reading it without having to insert punctuation and trying to figure out where one sentence ended and another started The vulgar language was also much tamer in this story so that was another positive aspect in my opinion I really thought this was going to be a five star read but the ending was very rushed without explaining a lot of freaky behavior Things just kind of occur out of nowhere and leave you reeling with a What just happened feeling It isn t anything awful per se just inconsistent with the rest of the story The other major issue I had with this book is how a 25 year old man is in high school He sometimes goes to class and interacts with teachers and students sometimes changes his schedule or skips class and nothing is ever explained about this behavior Besides those two complaints I enjoyed everything else about this book I recommend it to those Jordan Silver fans who also liked her book Passion but with the caution that it diverges into a paranormal Gothic read It s a new genre for Ms Silver to tackle and I found it to be an enthralling book Light Traveling liked until the 85% mark I Knights vs Dinosaurs loved that it had a Gothic vibe to the story and it is written along the same vein as Passion with a Twilight undertone This book was edited much better than Ms Silver s previous work although it still had some noticeable errors but I enjoyed reading it without having to insert punctuation and trying to figure out where one sentence ended and another started The vulgar Knights vs Dinosaurs language was also much tamer in this story so that was another positive aspect in my opinion I really thought this was going to be a five star read but the ending was very rushed without explaining a Goodnight Moon lot of freaky behavior Things just kind of occur out of nowhere and A Hundred Summers leave you reeling with a What just happened feeling It isn t anything awful per se just inconsistent with the rest of the story The other major issue I had with this book is how a 25 year old man is in high school He sometimes goes to class and interacts with teachers and students sometimes changes his schedule or skips class and nothing is ever explained about this behavior Besides those two complaints I enjoyed everything else about this book I recommend it to those Jordan Silver fans who also Cross Laminated Timber Design liked her book Passion but with the caution that it diverges into a paranormal Gothic read It s a new genre for Ms Silver to tackle and I found it to be an enthralling book

In a word this book was CONFUSINGMild spoilers hereThis story was actually very good Yes at one point it did sound a little like Twilight because in both stories the heroine moves back with her father after being with her mother The hero is a mystery guy in her high school that everyone wants who looked older and the heroine in both drive an old pickup truck Both heroes leaves the heroine with no explanation in order to protect them from being hurt Honestly that s it and when you look closely it was only very superficial In comparison twilight Bella s thoughts and feelings can t be read by Edward and in this story Jasmine s thoughts are very easy for Thorn to read and explore In this both the MCs have a connection from birth and that s how most of his behavior is explained To me this was not enough to say it was a Twilight rip off Firstlyit s about magical warlocks and witches Secondly it s about fate and betrayal They are fated to be together and his parents did him a grave injustice making him leave her at a young age He was forced to do things that many reviewers have said is being unfaithful he had sex with women for his country but I did not see it like that at all He was manipulated and had no choice in his life path at this timeTo me he was faithful to her Every part of him was for her He always held himself back before her I can understand the whole spy angle thing I enjoyed this book but the explanation of their past and everything around their families had me reading it over and over As it was very confusing writing and the grammar was so bad that I had to re read it so I could make sense of it all I would have been a 5 star read but it was confusing and needed a better editor So I can t give it all plus I wanted an epilogue I love an epilogue Monophobia 1 light.
