For the most part this was a pretty interesting book I ve been to Salem a number of times and didn t know where most of the not too obvious historic sites were I found that really useful for my next visit there However I wish I d highlighted those entries nowI ended up skipping some chapters mainly those where the author interviewed the citizens of Salem and got their opinions about the city changes Halloween etc I really didn t care what they had to say we all have our opinions and there was nothing earth shattering from what I readStill it is a good starting point for any visitors to this city so you know where to look for all those out of the way historic places
